Welcome to the FFY 2014 Grant Information page.

Together, AZDOHS with state, local and tribal jurisdictions, enhance the State's efforts to prepare, prevent, and respond to terrorist attacks and other disasters by distributing grant funds. Eligible jurisdictions can apply for grants for planning, organization, equipment, training and exercise needs within the scope of state and federal grant guidance.

Each grant opportunity listed below has a specific timeline and guidance associated with it. Please review and refer to all materials associated with the specific grant when applying.

FFY 2014 Urban Area Security Initiative Nonprofit Security Grant Program
(UASI NSGP)

FFY 2014 Application Portal (PORTAL IS NOW CLOSED)

The UASI NSGP provides funding support for target hardening and other physical security enhancements and activities to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of terrorist attack. The program provides funding specifically to high-risk nonprofit organizations and seeks to integrate nonprofit preparedness activities with broader state and local preparedness efforts. The program is also designed to promote coordination and collaboration in emergency preparedness activities among public and private community representatives, as well as state and local government agencies. The FY 2014 NSGP plays an important role in the implementation of the National Preparedness System (NPS) by supporting the development and sustainment of core capabilities to achieve the National Preparedness Goal (NPG).
